Fights
The only thing more fun than playing with friends is trouncing them in a death match. Attack friends, put bounties on enemies and start an all out war with rival crews to steal their cash, destroy their property and show them who’s boss.
Hostages
Going on patrol will only get you so far. To make some real cash, you need to take hostages and collect ransoms. Collect your hostages during patrols and keep them prisoner in a secret hostage facility until you’re ready to collect a ransom.
Influence
Money can’t buy everything. That’s why Pirates of Somalia integrates influence points, a virtual currency that lets you get perks, bonuses and items above and beyond what’s available at the black market.
Intel
Intel is your lifeline to everything happening in Pirates of Somalia. Through the web interface, Facebook updates and Twitter messages, Intel will make sure you know about the latest patrols and newest items.
Leaderboards
A little bit of healthy competition never hurt anyone. See where you rank against your crew – and everyone else – with the Pirates leaderboard. Use it to target your closest rival and knock him down a few rungs.
Lottery
Piracy is all about risk and reward, right? The Pirates of Somalia lotteries give you the chance to strike it rich daily or weekly without putting your life on the line. Each ticket buys you the chance to win special bonuses and essential items.
Personal Inbox
Send and receive messages from your crew with your personal in-game inbox. You can use your inbox to plan for all-out wars, keep tabs on a recent bounties and read secret messages from Intel. You never know what you’ll find, so check it often.
Land
To make sure you’ve always got cash on-hand, buy land and build it up to generate a stream of consistent, residual income. Keep a close eye on your empire, though. Rival pirates and crews can attack your properties and cause significant damage.
